Fourth and Fifth Graders accompany themselves on the ukuleles.
It is exciting to see studnts enjoy singing so much! It is a great help for a child to be able to accompany themselves when they sing. the ukulele is similar to the guitar, but easier to play.  This activity also enhances a childs sense of rhythm.

The Value of Recorder Playing in Music Education
Third grade is a good time for students to begin reading music, and what better way to learn than by playing the recorder.  A member of the Woodwind Family of instruments, it is easy to learn and fun to play!  the recorder is also called a "gateway instrument," in that it can open the door to a child's interest in playing other instruments.

First and second graders love to play the xylopones!
These instruments give students the opportunity to improvise.

Music Enrichment Class is a good place to rock!
Students are always invited to share their musical talents during music class.  These young musicians regularly perform for the their peers. It is most important young musicians to share their musical gifts with their classmates.
